From Steph Curry to Doug Edert, every year a player typically at a random school who makes a cinderella run goes from a nobody to a household name.

March is going to be here before you know it, if you need a cheat code for any watch party, break room, bar, or anywhere else you talk ball your going to need to know some names before we get to the tourney. So let's play a game "Who Want to Be a March Legend!"

Robbie Avila (Indiana State):

Theres a good chance you have seen this man at least once in your life, this is a layup. Avila is on a really good Indiana State team that is primed for a solid run in the tourney. Avila is build is a tatted Pillsbury dough boy in rec specs. Avila will be the talk of the tourney, he's a certified bucket and has character. He's one of those players that your aunt will laugh at every time he's shown on the broadcast.

Xaivian Lee (Princeton):

Princeton Legends: Albert Einstein, Jeff Bezos, and Xaivian Lee. Princeton made it to the Sweet 16 last year and are primed for another run. Princeton will need to win the Ivy but as long as the Xaivian Lee is playing for Princeton they will be good. There is a million nicknames Xaivian Lee will get this march. The Ivy Curry, Slim Reaper, and Tiger King just to name a few. I can guarantee Lee will make at least one buzzer beater in the tournament so remember the name.

Tyon Grant-Foster (Grand Canyon):

You might be wondering "isn't Grand Canyon University an online College?"

Your thinking of The University of Phoenix but your not far off. Grand Canyon University is three hours away from the Grand Canyon which will start a lot of talk around America in March. GCU is one of the best Mid Majors in the country this year and we have to highlight the star for the Lopes. Tyon Grant-Foster is the lead man on GCU and a long with a great story going from Kansas to DePaul and now GCU. Grant-Foster is going to lead the squad in purple in march so he's primed to be talked about in bars this March.

Tucker DeVries (Drake):

Nothing says March Legend like a red head bucket, Drake has been one of the top Mid Major programs for the past couple years so they have tourney experience and can make a run. DeVries can nearly score from everywhere on the court. DeVries is primed for being a household name because of his energy. His energy could start fights and thats a good thing. DeVries will splash a three in someones face and then scream at them, a read head baller out of Drake getting under a five-star Duke players skin is what the tourney is about.

It's almost tourney time and we will find out who will actually become a March Legend this year, that's the beauty of a March Legend. They come out of nowhere, so only time will tell who is worthy.
